"Fantastic experience, we enjoyed every minute and we will definitely come back!" could be the unanimous summary of the impressions of thousands of high-spirited runners immediately after crossing the finish line on the Stradun, the starting and finishing point of all the races that took place this weekend as part of Du Motion - Runners' Days Dubrovnik.

"This year's numbers are extraordinary, apart from the fact that we sold out all the races in advance, there are about 800 people in the organization itself, who all contributed to the success of the eighth Du Motion. Special thanks to everyone who joined the 5K race and showed support the little Marko, who was with us all these past days," said Du Motion director Alen Bošković.

The half-marathon race, which this year was run along a somewhat modified but still very attractive route along the coast, was run fastest in the men's category by John Mieszczanski - USA (1:15:00), Željko Cota - Triathlon Club Dubrovnik (1:15: 24) and Andrii Churanov - UKR (1:15:40), while among the women the fastest were American Lauren Johnson (1:27:42), Irish Tara Malone (1:33:15) and British Katie Horton (1:33: 38).

The Polish Patryk Sobczyk ran the fastest in the charity 5K with a result of 17:08, thus setting a new record for this race. He was followed by Emil Hastor - AK Goražde (17:26) and last year's winner, Slovenian Max Gerlič (18:40). In the women's category, Luciana Benić from Dubrovnik Gymnasium won the first spot (22:51), after which Merjema Suman - AK Goražde (24:57) and Iris Solomun - Athletic Club Dubrovnik (25:53) crossed the finish line.

Saturday was marked by the race with the most beautiful view of the city, Run The Wall. Luka Đurović climbed to the podium for the third time, this time with a score of 12:20:22. Damir Primorac (12:50:55), honorary consul of the Republic of Korea, took second place, and Ivan Kličan (12:50:93) finished third, with an almost identical result. Nina Mijoč (14:41:73), Melanie Nicolle from Guernsey (15:14:84) and Mirna Marović (15:35:33) were the fastest among women.

After the Run The Wall, Stradun was filled with happiness and laughter from about five hundred Dubrovnik kindergarteners and younger elementary school students, who take part in the Orlando Kids' Race every year with great joy.

With runners from 50 countries around the world, Du Motion once again confirmed itself as the most international event of its kind not only in Croatia, but also in the region, and the phenomenal atmosphere, incredible energy and enthusiastic runners full of praise for what they experienced are the best invitation to the next edition of this popular sports event. So mark April 26 and 27, 2025 on your calendar now!
