Applications open for volunteers for the 10th Du Motion

Dubrovnik's most famous running event, Du Motion - Runners' Days Dubrovnik, is celebrating its grand tenth edition, and the organizers have officially opened applications for volunteers. They invite everyone who wants to become "orange heroes" to join the team that will host runners from all over the world from April 23 to 26.

Volunteers are Du Motion's greatest strength, and their energy creates an atmosphere that has been delighting participants on every kilometer of the course for a decade. Last year, as many as 800 volunteers of all generations participated in logistically demanding tasks: from the first welcoming of runners in Lazareti and the distribution of starting packages, through securing the trails and working at refreshment stations, all the way to the most emotional moment - the medal ceremony on Stradun.

“Our logo is not accidental, volunteers are the wings without which Du Motion could not take off, but for us they are primarily our orange heroes. We invite you to join us in this anniversary year, wear the recognizable orange T-shirts and experience the emotion that a great sports competition brings from the front rows,” said Du Motion’s director, Alen Bošković.

Along with invaluable experience and new friendships, each team member will receive an official volunteer T-shirt and ID card, special benefits from the event’s partners, provided refreshments and an official diploma as a permanent recognition for their contribution to this great jubilee.
