Running enthusiasts will once again have the chance to step onto one of the most unique courses in Croatia. On Friday, 6 March 2026, we’re opening the running season with the 7th edition of Runway Run – a unique 5K race held on the runway of Dubrovnik Airport, in cooperation with Ruđer Bošković Airport.
This is the only race of its kind in Croatia, standing out for its spectacular location and limited number of participants, which is why registrations regularly sell out very quickly.
“Runway Run offers runners a completely different experience – not only because of the runway itself, but also thanks to the atmosphere and the feeling of being part of something truly special. The 5-kilometre distance makes it accessible to a wide range of runners, from recreational to more experienced ones,” said Du Motion director, Alen Bošković.
The number of participants is limited to 225.
The only requirement for participation is that runners must be at least 16 years old.
The race fee is 30 euros and includes the official race T-shirt, medal, bib number, official timing, refreshment, free parking in the airport car parks, and a post‑race get‑together.
Runway Run also marks the beginning of a new running year and the opening of our Running Club to new members. This loyalty program is intended for runners who take part in all our events during 2026, and it offers benefits such as discounts and free registrations for partner races in the following year.
