We're running 5K for Lukas Hasan!
Du Motion once again calls everyone to Stradun, where on Sunday, April 27, 2025, a charity 5K race will be held. This year the race is dedicated to little Lukas Hasan, a boy whose unbreakable spirit continues to inspire.
Life has confronted Lukas with numerous challenges, from a twin pregnancy with brain hemorrhage to severe diagnoses such as cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He is completely dependent on his mother's care, but despite everything, he shows incredible strength and optimism daily. His struggle never ceases, but he endures all challenges with immense patience and an infectious smile that captivates everyone who meets him.
For Lukas and his family, every help means immensely much as he faces numerous physical and developmental therapies, surgeries, and the acquisition of a special motor for his wheelchair that would make it easier for him to move around Dubrovnik.
"We invite everyone to join us, by running, walking, or cheering. This race is an opportunity to once again show unity and solidarity and to provide support to Lukas and his family," said Alen Bošković, director of Du Motion.
As a reminder, besides participating in the race, Lukas can also be supported by purchasing supporter packages for cheering on the runners. The image of a full Stradun will be a perfect gift for Lukas's upcoming tenth birthday.
