The fifth edition of the Runway Run was held at the Dubrovnik airport

The fifth edition of the Runway Run attracted numerous runners from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands to the Dubrovnik airport this Friday, March 8. The unusual and always inspiring location and excellent weather conditions additionally motivated the participants to achieve good results.

The best this time were Željko Cota - TK Dubrovnik (16:21), Dutchman Vince Cakular - HVA (17:30) and Goran Pulig - TK Dubrovnik (17:35) in the men's category, and Rita Biliš - AK Fit (21:50 ), Barbara Žitek (24:04) and Martina Tomić (24:17) in the women's category. With this result, Cota not only improved his last year's winning result, but also set a new track record.

"A large number of runners who came to run on the Ruđer Bošković Airport runway today have already run this race, and a good number of them participate in our other races as well. This tells us that we have managed to gather a real community of recreational runners who enjoy running in such special locations, and we are very happy that we will soon meet again at our main event, the eighth Du Motion-Runners' Days Dubrovnik", said Du Motion director Alen Bošković.
